Swainsboro to Adrian Camp and Conference Center Adrian, Georgia!

Got a late start this morning from Swainsboro. I had to wait till 9:00 am to have my anti-inflammatory prescription filled. By the time I got on the road it was after ten.

Today's walk would have been a 37 mile walk to have any kind of lodging.  I  came across the Adrian Camp And Conference Center on the map. My sister called while I was In Wal-Mart getting my prescription filled. They told her they could and would accommodate me for the night.

The walk today was an 18 mile walk and took almost 6 hours. There was nothing out there but the same scenery all day. I did come across a convenients store after about 11 miles. Went In and got some peanuts and an orange juice. I met a big group of road construction workers out front. The asked about my walk and were like...really...your going to walk all the way to California. I gave them all a card and invited them to follow my journey.

It was somewhere around 4:00 pm when I arrived at the Camp. Peggy came out and greeted me with a key to a room and asked about the walk and my journey. Then Jeff, her husband came out to greet me also. After arriving at my room and unpacking some things I took a shower. After a bit, I heard a  knock on the door. It was Jeff inviting me into their home for a Bible Study. I had a great time and met some wonderful people.

Upon leaving for the night they gave me a few departing gifts for my journey. A daily devotional book and they purchased a wooden cross made by one of the people at the Study for me. I am telling you...for such an uneventful day..Gods had surely blessed me at the day's end. What a blessing to of had our paths cross.

Crossstory.com is the web site yourself can go to if you would like to purchase a cross.

Thank you Jeff and Peggy for all the blessings you were able to pass on to me. God is great!
