Mount Zion Baptist Church, Danville, Ga. To Warner Robins, Ga. 23 Miles

Left Mount Zion Baptist  church around 6:30 this morning.  Thank You for putting me up for the night!

It was a little dark for about the first hour. A little misty also. It felt good not to be hot starting out though. Most if the roads were very busy..a lot of traffic...many
With very little to none shoulders. Despite all that I had a great walk today and full of the spirit...I waived to just about everyone. It got real hot towards the end of the day so I am glad to be in a nice room today!

Everyone I met and gave cards to were very nice and interested in the walk. ;-)

Oh yeah...had two Twigg county Sheriff's pull me over...I was thinking to myself...I hope I wasn't speeding, as I was moving along quite well. So you can picture it, me in my big bad baby stroller, say that fast ten times, sitting on the shoulder of the road with a squad car in front of me and one along side of me on the opposite side of the road. Just glad they didn't draw their guns on me. Really though, Thank you officers for doing your job. They got a call from a passerby and were required to check me out. After calling my DL in they wished me a safe trip! They were nice about it. Always glad to have them check on me. That way at least I know someone is keeping track of my whereabouts. It is like leaving a footprint.

  1. Hello it's me again Margaret! So glad you made it today, and had a little joy in your step. Praising the Lord all the way! Good for you and everyone you cross paths with! The flowers must be for me? Did I ever tell you how much I love flowers? Have a great night...Many blessings to you and all the people you come in contact with!
