Reynolds, Ga. To Junction City, Georgia! 23 miles

Got up this morning,  put air in the tire I had repaired, went into the restaurant around 7:00 am had some breakfast thanked Faye again and headed west. Stopped at the place that fixed my tire for me to thank them again and just pretty much walked all day.  Nothing really happened today,  I just walked and prayed, and waved to everyone that passed by. I got to Junction City around 2:30 pm. I didn't have time to walk elsewhere to find lodging and didn't know where I was going to spend the night. I prayed and left that up to God so I didn't really worry about it till I got here. I called the Sheriff's Department in Talbotton and they said Talbotton had a motel, but it was 2 1/2 more hour's and out of the way. From the road I saw a steeple, so I walked towards the church and found no one there. I saw a tiny little building that said City Hall so I walked up to it and it was locked and no one was there. So I turned around to head back out to the highway when a woman came out of her house and started walking up the road. I called out to her and she stopped, I gave her one of my cards and told her I was looking for a place to stay. She told me to go straight then turn left, there is a saw mill there and sometimes they let people stay there. As I approached the area I saw a sign Gateway Community. My sister had seen it on the internet and e-mailed them and didn't get a response. It is a work type commune for recovering drug addicts. One of the workers told me they thought it would be okay so they told me to come in and rest. They have cubical like area's with a single bed in each one. The pastor finally came and I went out and told him what I was doing and I was just looking for a place for the night. He told me that would be okay. So God provided for me again. Thank you Jesus! God is great!

In the morning I will head out towards Columbus, Georgia. I think it is around 23-28 miles. Now I know I will be able to find lodging there.

If I make Columbus tomorrow,  I should make it to the Alabama line the next day. But I will get there when God wants me to get there.

That's about it for now.

I JUST FEEL THE IRGE TO WALK!
