Millen, Ga. To Swainsboro, Ga

Left out of Millen at 6:30. It was still dark as I made my way down the shoulder of the highway.

My foot was still sore from the day before, but manageable. Had some breakfast at Huddle House a cup of coffee and was ready to go.

The first couple of miles were nice with good shoulder to walk on. The. Next road had absolutely no shoulder to walk on. Then after a few hours I came to my next turn off. That's right a dirt road. Many dirt roads. At one point I stopped and asked someone in a pickup directions. He said go straight ahead, you'll come out to the highway turn left. Okay, that I did...the highway was narrow to lane  blacktop back road. That was to funny. I almost miss took it for a super freeway.

After 18 miles I finally came to a convenience store. Got drinks and something to eat. Now only 13 more miles to go.

Finally made it to Swainsboro, went to grocery store and found a motel checked in and it was after seven.

Both legs were tired and swollen. Ahhh, a nice lavender epsom salt bath for about an hour. I was to tired to do the blog last night, so I'm rushing it before heading out this morning.
