I am still at the Super 8 in Walterboro. My leg is still a little swollen but has gone down to about half of what it was. The redness has almost cleared up. I did walk to
wal-mart this morning to pick up some food. A little swelling came back from that. I will be off my feet the rest of the day, just getting up when necessary.
I met a wonderful woman yesterday. She is..I believe she said 67. She wanted to share some of her story with me. It is not about mental health, but about her being a twenty-five year survivor of cancer and DKA (Diabetic Ketoacidosis). She went blind in one eye and has survived numerous other health issues. She was a single mom, worked as an EMT for 18 years and has worked at her present job for the past 15 years. Let me tell you, she is surely one strong women. God bless her! I was happy to meet and have her share her story with me. Thank you Susan.
I JUST FEEL THE URGE TO WALK!
