Started out this morning at 7:00 am. Went back down to route 80 and headed west. I took a few more pictures of Mississippi College as I was passing by.
Route 80 followed alongside of Interstate 20 almost the whole walk today. The only person I saw and spoke with was a Clinton Police Officer. He saw me stopped.. was checking my GPS to make sure I was going on the right road. He just wanted to make sure that I was okay and that my cart didn't break down. He was really nice about it.
So about three hours later my back tire goes flat. I found a safe place to fix it and was on my way again. I got one mile from Edwards and the front tire went flat. I pushed it the one mile holding the front wheel off the ground. I checked into the motel and fixed the front tire. A tiny piece of wire the thickness of a hair was the culprit on the front tire and the back tire was sand spurs again.
Wow....didn't that excite your day! I think severe storms are being cslled for tomorrow....I'll have to check the weather again.
Okay...until tomorrow...God bless everyone and have a good night!
Hello it's me again Margaret! Did I ever tell you how much I love flowers? Pretty pink ones too! Must be breast cancer awareness month. Love the dome building and the sky in the two after that is so pretty! Two flat tires in one day is enough excitement. Blessings abound, love endures, peace surrounds! God bless you and your walk!
